Nestled in the Sneeuberge is the farm of Waterval, just a mere 30 km outside the picturesque town of Graaff-Reinet. Come and enjoy nature truly in its most tranquil state in our farm cottage. The cottage is situated in a beautiful kloof, next to a river. Given its location, it gives one an excellent opportunity to hike far distances without disturbance. And thus to view the various game species that can be found on the farm, including Springbuck, Kudu, Zebras, Wildebeest and many more. Accompanied game drives can, off course, be arranged.

The cottage is a open plan house with a kitchen area, lounge area (with large fireplace), bedroom area and a bathroom with running hot water. It can accommodate up to 4 people. It has a big braai area to prepare food. There is no electricity, but lamps will be available and a generator can be arranged. You will be able to enjoy the private game reserve all by yourself. It is important to note that this is a self-catering unit and that guests are also required to bring their own bedding and towels. You therefore pay one price for the entire unit, irregardless of the amount of people we accommodate.

The farm has a beautiful waterfall, not two hours' walk from the cottage, where one can get spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and greater Graaff-Reinet area. Come and enjoy the tranquility nature has to offer in the most private of areas.
