Doornberg is a working sheep farm with many fields irrigated by mountain springs. Peet and Hanna are the fifth generation owners of this magnificent family farm.
The farm house is hidden amongst 200 year old oak trees and huge gardens creating a true oasis in the Karoo.
Guests are free to use all facilties on the farm and also to experience true Karoo hospitality and cuisine in safe and secure surroundings.
Guest House:
Old farm house converted and upgraded for guests. Set in garden with magnificent view and near swimming pool and trampoline.
Bachelor Flat:
Old stable converted to make very comfortable accommodation for guests with queen Anne wood stove for winter nights.
Rondavel:
Rondavel set behind guest house. Magnificent views.
Private flat - Main House:
Flat in main house with private entrance. Guests have meals with hosts. Tea & coffee making facilities.
Vlei Cottage:
Self contained beautifully restored stone cottage approximately four kilometres from the main homestead. Exquisite surroundings with beautiful mountain views and totally private. Close to farm dam with lots of birds and splash pool next to the house. Please Note that the Vlei Cottage is not available for single night stays.
